20 Different Students Headed Off to 20 Different Homes "After a night to myself I had breakfast with my host family and discussed the plans for the day. After this we visited the main shopping center in Dublin, Grafton Street. While we were there we got lunch, then continued our journey. This meant a quick trip to the Irish National Art Gallery then a tour next door to the Taoiseach (PM)’s office. Once the tour had concluded we headed to Phoenix Park, where we ran into a few other exchange pairs. We then took a bus and finished our day with a tour of the President’s House (which looked similar to the White House). At sundown we went to a Rugby Match between an Italian and Irish team. When we first arrived in Dublin, we were all tired from an exhausting flight, but excited to get our trip going.    We went to Belvedere first which we soon learned was a beautiful school.    They are right in the middle of the city, so they have to be creative with their facilities.    We then went on a walk around the city to see some sights.    We got to experience some of Dublin’s fun and beautiful sights such as Temple bar, Grafton Street, and cathedrals.    In the first few minutes we already found some similarities to Boston.    It was a very vintage and nice city with cobblestone roads.    We soon found out that they have no skyscrapers, which is crazy.    In conclusion, with Belvedere being in the beautiful city of Dublin, they had to be creative around the great atmosphere around them. -Zach Richardson & Jack Golden Friday morning was a bit of a blur, but we had a wonderful ...

Logan Airport—the journey begins! And we are already practicing our traveling flexibility with a delay on the runway. Spirits are high and excitement is in the air (hopefully we are too soon!) Thursday was a good day for travel. There was not much happening in Logan that night and security was smooth and quick. We were given some time in the airport to get some dinner and prepare for the flight which was delayed after an issue with the left engine starter. We sat at the gate for an hour and half before getting the go ahead and taking off. Once we were in the air it was a fast and smooth flight with the plane traveling around 670 miles an hour which allowed us to arrive in Dublin around 10:30 in the morning.
