The North Country: Belfast and the Antrim Coast

Today, we hauled onto the bus and crossed the border between the Republic of Ireland and the Unionist Ireland. We stopped in the Northern capital, Belfast; there we learned about "the troubles", drove down the main streets of the Catholic and Protestant neighborhoods and then we all signed our names on the peace wall that separates them. We also went to the Titanic Museum, on the orginal grounds where the Titanic was built. Then we got back on the bus and drove all the way up to the northernmost part of the Irish island - we saw a lot of the places where Game of Thrones was filmed. Then we went to the Rope Bridge, and walked across that (none of us were scared :)). We finished the day at Giant’s Causeway, and walked all the way to the top of the cliffs. After our hike we had a great dinner at the Causeway Hotel.
